On July 16th, 2020, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team released yet another community development update. Over the past week the Microsoft team has worked for countless hours taking questions, bugs, and overall great feedback from the community on the new simulator.

Yesterday, the Flight Sim team released the Closed Beta to all Alpha testers, but, on July 23rd, 2020, they will be releasing more invitations to the public before the official release of Closed Beta on July 30th.

The team has also announced the contribution of 3rd party developers, all 3rd party developers will be able to release all products on the marketplace to the public.

The brand new Microsoft Flight Simulator will bring tons of new things to the table. One of the biggest questions that the community has, is will there be airliner liveries available on the aircraft? Well, here is the answer.

In a recent trailer released by the Microsoft Team, there was one cut scene where an A320 did a flyby, but if you looked closely, the aircraft had an airliner livery, called IBERIA.

The answer isn’t final on whether this is going to be an interactive livery, or if it will be only for the AI aircraft.

But, we can find out! The team continues day in and day out to listen to the public on their concerns and any questions you may have. The next development update is planned to release on July 23rd, 2020, so maybe by then, we, the public, will have the final answer.

We now anticipate that the update will be ready for you between February 9th and February 11th. Below are a few images of London in the simulator … the city is (obviously) massive and it’s going to be incredible to fly around in that environment....
